Hand Therapy

Our hand therapy services are provided by experienced, skilled, occupational therapists. Our therapists have advanced education and training in anatomy and kinesiology of the hand, elbow, and shoulder to meet your post-trauma and post-surgical needs. Our hand therapists at our Northlake and Golden Triangle locations have professional relationships with many area physicians and can help make a recommendation to get you to the best possible surgeons in the area or can communicate effectively with your doctor to make sure you are receiving the highest quality of care.

OT services typically include:

  • An evaluation, during which the client/family and occupational therapist determine the person’s goals,
  • Customized intervention to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals, and
  • An outcomes evaluation to ensure that your goals and your doctors goal are being met and/or make changes to the intervention plan.
